Certificate Application Procedures

We will soon have an on-line application form available. Until then, prospective applicants should submit the paper Georgetown Graduate School application, available as a pdf file.

The application fee is $70 for online applicants, and $80 for paper applicants, payable by check made out to Georgetown University.
 
All parts of applications for the fall semester (including recommendations and transcripts) must reach us by no later than August 1, and admissions will be done on a rolling application basis. Your earliest possible application is encouraged.
 

Certificate Application Requirements

 
Admission to the graduate school requires that applicants have achieved at least a B (3.0) average in attaining their bachelor's degree.
 
This is an interdisciplinary program and does not require an extensive background in the biological sciences or public policy. However, some basic familiarity with biological concepts is necessary. Therefore, individuals applying to the program who have not majored in biology, chemistry, microbiology or other related field must have one of the following qualifications:
 

Applicants should have three letters of recommendation sent to the above address Please be sure that envelope address includes "Attn: Credentials - Joint Certificate in Bio-Defense and Public Policy."
