The application fee is $70 for online applicants, and $80 for paper applicants, payable by check made out to Georgetown University.
All parts of applications for the fall semester (including recommendations and transcripts) must reach us by no later than August 1, and admissions will be done on a rolling application basis. Your earliest possible application is encouraged.
Certificate Application Requirements
Admission to the graduate school requires that applicants have achieved at least a B (3.0) average in attaining their bachelor's degree.
This is an interdisciplinary program and does not require an extensive background in the biological sciences or public policy. However, some basic familiarity with biological concepts is necessary. Therefore, individuals applying to the program who have not majored in biology, chemistry, microbiology or other related field must have one of the following qualifications:
- Undergrad course work in Biological sciences totaling a minimum of 6 credit hours
- Professional experience in the workplace that relates strongly to the subject matter presented by the program, evidenced by a letter of recommendation from your current employer.
