Master of Policy Management
A Master of Policy Management (MPM) degree equips policy leaders with essential management and analytic skills that allow them to meet policy management challenges. A degree for professionals with significant practical experience, the MPM hones and integrates their talents to enhance effectiveness in the policy world. GPPI provides committed policy professionals with the theoretical foundation and practical tools they need to make a difference.
Why Policy Management?
Today's policy managers, in and out of government, recognize that theirs is a distinguished calling. Faced with many of today's most difficult policy issues, they need inventive solutions that they know can be politically and administratively effective.
GPPI’s MPM Program delivers a balanced curriculum that trains students in both the art and science of policy management and leadership. Policy managers are professionals in public, private, and nonprofit sectors whose work influences and shapes public policy at the national, state, and local levels. They must combine leadership and communication skills with analytical rigor to advance policy agendas. Part of their challenge is to develop policy solutions that are inventive and creative, but also practical.
