U.S. federal regulations require that students in F-1 or J-1 status maintain a full course of study. MPM students in F-1 or J-1 status will start with the summer institute and must enroll in a minimum of 6 credits for each of the two summer sessions. In the fall and spring semesters, students in F-1 or J-1 status must enroll in a minimum of 9 graduate level credits per semester.
