The Fall 2010 application deadline for both domestic and international students is January 15. You are strongly encouraged to apply as early as possible in the admissions cycle, especially if you are seeking a scholarship awarded by the Georgetown Public Policy Institute.
All application materials, including require test results (GRE, GMAT, or TOEFL scores) must be received by the application deadline. The application fee is $75.00. (Application fee waivers are not granted). Incomplete applications will not be reviewed until all required documents have been received. However, if some materials such as letters of recommendation are delayed, still submit your application by the deadline. Send all missing credentials within two weeks after submitting the application. A photocopy of the GRE scores and TOEFL results (if required) should be submitted with the application. This will permit review of the application until official scores are received.
The Georgetown University GRE code is 5244, GMAT code JT7-D8-97, and TOEFL code 5335.
Applicants should expect a decision email within four to six weeks after submitting an application. Decision letters are mailed in late February or early March. Please note that the Office of Admissions does not give decisions over the telephone. If you have not received your letter by early March, please contact the Office of Admissions, and another copy of the decision letter will be sent. Please note also that due to the heavy volume of mail and telephone calls during the admissions season, the GPPI Admissions staff cannot respond to application status inquiries. You can check your application status by logging in to your online application at: https://app.applyyourself.com/?id=gtu-g.
