Information Sessions
Fall 2007 - Spring 2008 Recruitment Schedule (.pdf)
GPPI holds information sessions for prospective students during the course of the year. Applicants should call the admissions office to check the upcoming calendar and to sign up for a scheduled session. Appointments can be made with GPPI professional and academic staff to answer questions and acquaint prospective students with the program. The GPPI also invites applicants to sit in on some of our class sessions and to meet with GPPI students and available GPPI alumni. Because of a high volume of inquiries and visitors, we can only offer these services at scheduled times, so please plan accordingly. Information sessions are not offered during the months of February, March, and April, due to the demands of the admissions cycle.
In the spring, the GPPI sponsors campus visits for recently admitted students. These sessions give prospective students the opportunity to meet our faculty and students, sit in on classes, and learn more about how our program trains students to affect public policy. The dates for these visit days vary from year to year; typically one session is scheduled in late March and one in early April before the end of classes. All students admitted to the program will receive mailings and registration information to attend the Open Houses.
