Prospective Students

GPPI is a vibrant community of students, scholars, and policy practitioners committed to teaching our students to design smart policies and put them into practice- in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, in the U.S. and around the world.

Our location in Washington, D.C., puts the heart of the policy world at our fingertips. It allows us to bring in leading policy practitioners as both teachers and speakers. Our students regularly intern and go on to work in government at the White House, in federal agencies, and on Capitol Hill; in the private sector for major consulting and evaluation firms; and at local service-oriented and large international aid nonprofits based in our nation’s capital.

We strive to enroll a diverse student body and encourage applications from individuals with a wide variety of educational and professional backgrounds. Applicants are considered for admission based on academic preparation, professional experience, career focus, and potential to contribute to and benefit from attendance at GPPI.
